King of all Kings - Revelation 19:16

All,

I am starting the new year by expanding the distribution of my daily devotion to the whole family and I will probably expand it even further outside the family throughout the year.  I have been so blessed by putting these devotions together for Hannah that I feel God is calling me to expand the audience further and ensure that God's spiritual truths are being shared with as many people as will hear them.

I found out recently that Gina sends a daily email of scripture to Scott, Zachary and Aubrey also. And as you might know, part of my inspiration for starting this daily devotional was from Mr Mizerak who also started this with his family and now is still carrying it on with a much larger distribution.

I pray that you read these devotions each morning and meditate on God's word.  But more importantly, I pray that the scripture will permeate your minds and drive real action and change in your lives.  I believe this directive is clearly described in one of my favorite Bible verses James 1:22 "But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves."

So let's start the year off right with a verse that proclaims that our awesome God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

I love you all!

Dad

-------------------------------------------------

When Christ came the first time, he did so quietly and somewhat meekly as a lamb. He did not even draw much attention to himself and was not the conquering and warring king that Israel was expecting. However when he comes again, every eye will see him "coming in the clouds" and he will have the "King of Kings" label brightly stamped on his robe for all to see. Rejoice that our lord is indeed King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Revelation 19:16
"On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords."
